Andrij Ferguson

Physiotherapist
Andrij has been an integral member of the Catalyst Santé team since 2012. He is currently completing his final dissertation in athletic low back pain for his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DSc.PT) at Andrews University. He also holds a Clinical Master’s of Physical Therapy (Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Major) with High Distinction from Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia and a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy from McGill University. An expert in his field with nearly 20 years of experience, Andrij is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapy (FCAMPT), a certified Dry Needling (PPAS) practitioner, a Sport First Responder and has contributed to the Journal of Orthopaedics and Sports Physical Therapy with research on spinal biomechanics. His post-professional training spans Cognitive Functional Therapy (CFT), functional movement, and myofascial techniques. Recognized for his dedication to education, Andrij received the Clinical Educator Award of Excellence from McGill University in 2018 and has shared his knowledge as a guest lecturer and sessional instructor in orthopedic and musculoskeletal courses at both the McGill Bachelor’s and Master’s levels. A lifelong athlete, Andrij played football at John Abbott College and rugby for the Quebec Junior Men’s program and the McGill Varsity Redbirds. He is the physiotherapy consultant for the College Français de Longueuil Junior AAA Hockey team since 2013 and routinely treats elite level and professional athletes of various sports including hockey, rugby, football, baseball, soccer, wake boarding, figure skating, running, triathlon. Andrij’s extensive expertise, combined with his warm and approachable nature, ensures that the physiotherapy process is not only effective but also a positive and empowering experience for his patients.
