Nicholas Kudo
Athletic Therapist | Physiotherapist
Nicholas graduated from Concordia University in 2021 with a B.Sc. in Exercise Science, specializing in Athletic Therapy. Since his beginnings in the Athletic Therapy program, he has continued to gain experience in providing personalized treatments, rehabilitation programs, and on-field first-responder services to CEGEP, university, and professional athletes. In his time spent as a student athletic therapist with the Montreal Canadiens medical staff, Nicholas gained an appreciation for the benefits of having a multidisciplinary team in patient care. As a therapist who came to understand the value of viewing care through different lenses, he looked to further develop his clinical skills and broaden his learning experiences to adopt a more well-rounded approach to therapy. Nicholas continued his studies at McGill University, graduating with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. During his time at McGill, his internships completed within the emergency department of Montreal’s Royal Victoria Hospital, as well as community rehabilitation centers, allowed him to further appreciate the importance of physical activity and patient-centered multidisciplinary care across all populations. Nicholas’ foundational interest in human anatomy and physiology in combination with his skillsets in physiotherapy and exercise science allow him to provide patients with the tools to manage their pain and move better. Driven by a passion to make a lasting positive impact on the well-being of others, Nicholas seeks to optimize patients’ recovery to help them get back to the activities they love.
